.But Why Baobabs? Well apart from being the biggest species of tree in the world, have no time rings so they are ageless and me and Baobabs go way back. I was travelling through the Rift Valley (1972) when I saw them. Wow! I called ‘em potatoe trees cause they were short and stumpy. The White Hunter who I had hitched a lift with for the past two days (Ita Africa, big place) turned down the Strauss Waltz playing on his stereo. He said “No, Philip, they are upside down trees” OMG, after that every Baobab I looked at was upside down. God had made them as ordinary trees then he said lets have a laugh so he picked them up turned them upside down and stuck them back into the ground. They look upside down i.e. The Roots are where the branches should be. You look at their giant stubby bodies and they’ve got Giant Stubby Branches, like roots! AND, they often don’t have any leaves, they don’t seem to have much time for leaves. I did see one with a few leaves down on the plain and it was billed as the biggest in the world in Tsavo National Park where I saw Pink Elephants, but you could see it wasn’t really into leaves. two years later up in the himalayas with the Tibetans (hahahaha..Name Dropping..lol)My Parisian friend was reading Le Petit Prince we only had a french copy. She would read it in french and translate it into Parisian English. Baobabs > The Little Prince’s raison d’etre. I’ll get a copy..So Baobabs. When I was in USA 15 years later I came across Stone Arches. I saw the again in Avatar. I saw them again last night in Arcadia.

Is Virtual Reality real?

I have spoken about people making a dichotomy of real and virtual. I have made my position clear. I have “told it like it is”. I have invented rvr. Everything is linked now. You post to twitter it ends up on DIGG and Facebook. You favourite a youtube video it ends up on bebo. You post to facebook and yahoo picks it up. Blogs? OMG if i blog anything and click on share it goes to the following :

Twitter, My Space, DiGG, Facebook, Yahoo, Google, stumbleupon, buzzup, de.lio.us, all my 10 other blogs, all my 30 widgets, Blue Mars, ….if there is a god (s)he gets a copy

and no doubt someone somewhere is transmitting this out into space where it will travel on into eternity…. Do you see? Everything is linked now. You cannot distinguish between what is real and what is virtual. The human in me says it is all real. The buddhist says it is all virtual. Whatever the perspecive, it is all one.

I twittered “No No Go Go http://OnlyDragons.com eat Antonomic Hamsters” because BBC Radio 2 said Go Go Hamsters are in trouble because of levels of Antonomy . Blue Mars GUI

I have been on duty at the home place for some time now and there are fundamental flaws being mentioned. Some of them are:

1. Unable to access preferences
2. Full Screen mode cannot be implimented
3. Mouse movements and positioning is often several millimeters off

I therefore propose the following. I am a Microsoft Tech NET technician and I have been programming .NET frameworks for some time. We are BETA but I believe the following basic code could be inserted in the root which will amend the user interaction. It uses the “Star” system some of you may remember. The code is not long and here it is in its entirety. It has been exhaustively tested.

• In 1999 we bought a Silicon Graphics 64-Bit O2 Work Station, to be used primarily as a Web Server. NASA used one to control the Mars Lander, the MARS lander. “Siggi ” was BLUE. Oh look, It has a Virtual Reality Program. So we learned VRML, Virtual Reality Markup Language and created a fashion langerie 3D Web Site. We were shortlisted in the top ten websites. But nobody shared our vision, so it remained an in-house project mostly populated by giant ants that would follow your mouse and nod their heads with a right click.

• In May 2009 I joined Twinity, Ten Years After . I love Twinity. Go to Twinity dot com and have a look. I have about 5 apartments there , a photo gallery and several clubs. One of them, Brizz, almost holds the attendence record for a Twinity Social Event. We dance, the animations are a bit tame, but it’s a Chat Room and an amazing one too. We listen to streaming blues and jazz and rock, set our Avatars dancing and Chat. Here’s a video of a small party we held celebrating the Berlin Wall 20th Anniversary. I’m Philip.
